Giaconda Estate Vineyard Chardonnay is organically grown in the estate vineyard in the foothills of the Victorian Alps. It lies at 400 metres altitude in ancient granite loam soils.

The grapes are handpicked, lightly crushed and basket pressed. The wine ferments with wild yeast before natural malolactic fermentation and ageing for up to two years in French oak barrels.

Giaconda's underground maturation cave offers optimal conditions for maturation with a stable temperature of 16°C. Prior to bottling the wine sees minimal sulphur additions and no filtration.

Straw green, Giaconda Estate Vineyard Chardonnay is beguiling and ethereal with white stone fruit flavours, vibrant minerality and fresh acidity.

One of Australia's great wines. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
